This is a vintage collection including bottles from big name distilleries such as Balvenie, Port Ellen, and Macallan. Featuring vintages from 1968 until 1989, this collection would be the perfect starting place for any whisky lover looking to invest.

Included in this collection:

A stunning Speyside single malt, this Balvenie 1972 Vintage Cask is an award-winning whisky. Distilled on the 27th November 1972, into cask number 14811 it was left undisturbed for 30+ years until it was bottled on the 16th May 2003. This extremely limited edition is one of 150 bottles released, and comes complete in the original wooden presentation box. At the 2007 World Whisky Awards, this Balvenie won the World’s Best Vintage Speyside and World’s Best New Release awards before carrying off the overall World’s Best Speyside Trophy. It also won a Gold Editor’s Choice Award from Whisky Magazine and received a glowing review from whisky writer Dave Broom.

This Talisker 1981 20-Year-Old Cask Strength single malt is widely regarded as the best ever Talisker release. Distilled at the Isle of Skye’s oldest distillery in 1981, this whisky was matured in sherry casks and bottled in 2002. Filled at a natural cask strength of 62%, only 9000 bottles were produced. This excellent Islander has become increasingly desirable amongst collectors, helped by incredible reviews including 93 points at Whisky Fun. Jim Murray’s review of this Talisker 1981 gave it a score of 95 points, commenting ‘Miss this and your life will be incomplete’.

A Port Ellen 1982 20-Year-Old single malt bottled and released as part of the Provenance range. Distilled in winter 1982, this Port Ellen malt was laid to rest in sherry cask number 3029, before being bottled in winter 2003. This independent release was bottled by McGibbon’s as part of the Provenance range – prior to the Provenance label being transferred to McGibbon’s parent company Douglas Laing & Co.

This Macallan 1989 Cask Strength single malt is the 5th entry into the prestigious Macallan Exceptional Single Cask range. Distilled on the 19th January 1989, and laid to rest in Single Oloroso sherry butt number 552 for 14 years before being bottled on the 30th November 2003. Bottled at a 59.2% cask strength, a yield of 777 bottles of this rare and very sought after Macallan were released. This limited release comes complete with an extra cork stopper in the original presentation tube, signed by Macallan Master Distiller Bob Dalgarno.

This bottle is being sold by a client who has appointed Mark Littler LTD to act as their agent. The seller is not a VAT registered business and there is no VAT included in the purchase price nor is there any VAT to pay.
