Hong Kong Shipping Information

Hong Kong Tracked Shipping

Shipping to Hong Kong starts at £50 for a single bottle.

For larger shipments please contact us for a custom shipping quote with Connoisseur International.

How We Ship Our Bottles

Once a bottle is purchased via our online shop, it is packaged using specialist packing materials to ensure safe transport and delivery.

Inflatable Bottle Jackets

The bottles are placed into inflated bottle jackets, which are ideal for the shipment of fragile glass bottles and are widely used in the spirits industry.

Double Boxed

The bottle, inside the jacket, is then placed in a bottle box and then in a larger cardboard box which is cushioned with specialist void fill.

Our packing procedures ensure maximum protection for your bottle.

Door to Door tracking

Bottles dispatched to Hong Kong are shipped via DHL Express and are tracked every step of the way. Upon dispatch, you will receive a tracking number so that you can keep an eye on your shipment.

Shipping Protection

At checkout you will have the option to purchase shipping protection.

This covers loss and breakage but does not cover capsule leakage. Please note that we cannot guarantee cover for bottles with wax capsules.

Tax and Import FAQ's

VAT Information

VAT information can be found at the bottom of each bottle listing.

Many of the bottles on our shop are being sold on behalf of private individuals and therefore are not subject to VAT.

Any bottles owned by Mark Littler Limited are subject to VAT, and this is included in the list price.

VAT can be removed from bottles for export. Please email us prior to checking out.

Local Import Tax Laws

Import tax is applied to alcohol when being imported into another country, as it does when importing alcohol into Hong Kong.

According to Hong Kong’s customs website, whisky, or “[l]iquor with an alcoholic strength of more than 30% by volume measured at a temperature of 20℃” is subject to a 100% import tax.

Please ensure that you have conducted your own research and that you are satisfied with the import tax rate prior to purchase.
