Bladnoch 1987 Connoisseurs Choice
This is a bottle of Bladnoch 1987, bottled by First Cask in 1999, 70cl, 46% ABV.
Condition
This bottle is in good condition. It shows some light marks to the label which are acceptable given the age of the bottle. The price of the bottle reflects the condition but this would still make an excellent addition to any collection.
Bladnoch Distillery
Bladnoch Distillery is located in the south west of Scotland and is one of only six Lowland distilleries still to be in operation today. Found in Bladnoch near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway, this distillery is on the River Bladnoch’s banks and is Scotland’s most southern distillery. The distillery has a troubled past, and was narrowly saved from extinction in 2015 by Australian entrepreneur who has revitalised the distillery. Bladnoch is producing whisky once more.
Connoisseurs Choice
Arguably Gordon & Macphail’s most famous series, the Connoisseurs Choice range showcases a variety of single malts from every region in Scotland. The range was launched in the mid-1960s and remains a by-word for high quality single malts from distilleries such as Macallan, Ardbeg, and Port Ellen.
