Glen Scotia

Glen Scotia distillery is one of only three distilleries still operating in what was the whisky capital of the world, Campbeltown, alongside Springbank and Glengyle. It is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland, making its Whisky Loch survival even more admirable.

For the dark tourists, it is said that Glen Scotia distillery is haunted by the ghost of its early owner, Duncan MacCallum, who took his own life after his life savings were lost in a scam.

Today, the distillery is owned by the Loch Lomond Group, and released a new core range of bottlings in 2012, including a 10, 12, 16, 18 and 21 year old.
