Deanston

Despite being one of the younger distilleries in the Scotch whisky world, Deanston has worked hard in its category to become lauded by those who are wanting a more naturally presented highland whisky. The cotton mill the distillery is based in began to produce whisky in 1965 with its first bottled product being called Old Bannockburn, Deanston as a brand didn’t make an appearance until 1974. Deanston closed temporarily in 1982 with production starting again in 1991.
