    Daftmill began distilling in 2005 and is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland; they only distil twice a year when they produce 65,000 litres which goes toward just 100 or so casks. The Lowlands region where Daftmill is situated, has seen a huge renaissance in the last half a decade. Its Lowland location along with its super limited availability means Daftmill single malts are in high demand despite the distillery’s youth and most sales of its recently released 15 year old were done via ballot.
