Inchgower Distillery
Inchgower distillery is located in Speyside, on the North coast of Scotland. It was founded in 1871 by Alexander Wilson & Co, and worked away fairly steadily until 1936 when the company went bankrupt. The distillery was then acquired by Buckie Town Council and subsequently Arthur Bell & Sons. The distillery is still working today, and is owned by Diageo; the biggest spirits company in the world.
First Cask
First Cask is a series of specially selected single malt whiskies that were bottled as single cask, cask strength bottlings by Direct Wines.
First Cask is a generally undervalued series, with some fine examples of well-aged whiskies from renowned distilleries going for relatively low prices compared to similar ages and vintages from other independent bottlers or official releases.
