Glencadam Distillery
A small highland distillery which is ran by a small family run whisky company, Angus Dundee Distillers. When they purchased the distillery in 2003, a key part of their aims was to reinstate some older functioning parts of the distillery. The original water wheel that sits in the middle of the distillery was rebuilt and put back into working condition, it now powers the distillery with a percentage of its electricity. Everything about Glencadam is understated and rather old school, but that isn’t a bad thing, especially given the success of the brand in the last decade or so.
Gordon & Macphail
Gordon & Macphail are one of the oldest whisky bottlers to exist in the world. Bottling over 350 expressions from over 70 distilleries, as well as bottling whisky for numerous large distilleries in Scotland for decades. Bottling whisky for 115 years and now proud owners of the Benromach distillery since 1993.
