Glen Mhor Distillery
Glen Mhor distillery was built in 1892 and joined Diageo’s portfolio in 1972. It has very rarely appeared as a single malt except for the odd bottling by SMWS or Gordon & Macphail bottling. The distillery closed in 1983 and was demolished soon after. As such, any single malt from Glen Mhor has an air of rarity about it.
Campbell & Clark
Originally founded in 1934 as a subsidiary of Train & McIntyre Ltd., Campbell & Clark was sold to George Christie’s Speyside Distillery Company in 1960, with American company Sazerac acquiring a 50% stake in 1961. Christie bought Sazerac out in 1989 and took full control of the operations. Campbell & Clark was dissolved in 2010. Perhaps its most famous bottling on the secondary market is the Glen Mhor 1969.
