Royal Brackla Distillery
Originally named Brackla, the distillery was founded in 1817 and received its Royal Warrant in 1835, adding the prefix ‘Royal’ to its name and becoming Royal Brackla. The distillery experienced a six-year-long mothballing during the 1980s whisky loch. However, since the 1990s the distillery has gone from strength to strength, even revitalising its core range in 2019.
